Volunteers Needed for All Hollow's Eve Events

All Hollow’s Eve

is coming!


Preparations have already begun for our

legendary Cemetery Tour (October 19),

Witch of Woodbury & Friends presentation (Oct 26),

and the Haunted Museum (Oct 19 & Oct 26)

It takes 80+ volunteers to make this event possible and we would love for you to be part of the fun!


A volunteer meeting will be held,

Saturday, September 21 at 10:00 am

at the Glebe House Museum.

Volunteer Experiences Include:


Cemetery Actors:

Portray one of Woodbury’s most notable or notorious citizens.

For students in grades 8-12, this is a fun way to earn community service hours!

A rehearsal will be held on

Wednesday, October 16 at 5:00 pm.

(Rain Date: October 17)


Spirit Guides:

Lead groups of visitors by lantern light, through the cemetery to meet local spirits.


All Hollow’s Eve event help:

Greeters

Ticket Sales

Help prepare & place Luminary Bags in Cemetery

Parking Attendants

Event set-up and clean-up

Sunday morning: Luminary clean-up

Haunted Museum Decorator Assistants


*Many volunteer activities are

perfect for groups and students seeking

community service hours.

*If you would like to participate, but cannot make the scheduled meeting & rehearsal times,

other arrangements may be made.


Ticket sales are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, September 18.

Museum Hours:

The Museum is closed for the season except for special events.

The Museum will open for the regular season on Friday, May 2nd. 

The Gertrude Jekyll Garden:  Open year-round, 7 days per week, dawn-dusk, for self-guided tours.

 *Please excuse our appearance as our staff has begun restoration work in the Jekyll Garden.  The Garden will remain open to the public throughout the restoration.
