TD Bank Sponsors 2022 All Hollow's Eve Events

Woodbury: September 5, 2022 - The Glebe House Museum announces that with a sponsorship from TD Bank, preparations have begun for the ALL HOLLOW’S EVE Events that will include two nights of spooky fun.

On Saturday, October 22 (Rain Date: October 23) led by lantern light through a trail of luminaries, attendees will tour the ancient cemetery with their spirit guide visiting the final resting places of some of Woodbury’s notable and not-so notable residents. You will walk amongst the dead in burying grounds over 350 years old and hear stories of those mortal remains that lie beneath your feet as their spirits rise for the occasion and are dying to share their true-yet often-dark tales.

Saturday, October 29 will see the return of the Witch of Woodbury and Friends. Join Mol Cramer at her cauldron as she introduces you to three of Connecticut’s accused Witches who will share their dark story and that of many other unfortunate souls.

For both evenings we invite you to visit “The Estate of Panic”. The 275-year-old Glebe House has its history of hauntings but for these events, the Museum is professionally staged to create a unique experience, designed to be different each year to delight visitors again and again. Dare to walk through the frightful rooms filled with special effects and creepy things that are guaranteed to be hair-raising.

Volunteers Are Needed: Adults & Teens with interest in acting are encouraged to volunteer and join the fun. Volunteers are also needed to help with other activities for the evening. Young people in need of community service hours for school are encouraged to contact the Museum Director at 203-263-2855.

A Volunteer Meeting is planned for Saturday, September 17th at 10:00 am at the Glebe House Museum, 49 Hollow Road, Woodbury. Those interested in participating are encouraged to attend and may contact the Museum Director by phone or email to register.
