Museum Makeover Sneak Peek

Join us on Sunday, November 19 from 2-5 pm

for a sneak peek of our completed

Museum Makeover Grant Project.

Earlier this year, the Glebe House Museum received a Museum Makeover Grant from Conservation ConneCTion, supported by a partnership with the Connecticut League of History Organizations with a grant from the CT Cultural Fund, administered by CT Humanities, with funding provided by the Connecticut State Department of Economic and Community Development/Connecticut Office of the Arts from the Connecticut State Legislature.

The completed project enables visitors to experience the main floor of the historic home through a self-guided tour. This is meant to enhance the visitor experience when they attend museum open houses, special events and other times when guided tours are not available. It will also allow the Museum to develop specially themed tours, as well as increase the hours of operation. Although docent guided tours will still be offered, this project allows for more visitor opportunities and increased visitation.

Please join us at our open house on November 19 to experience the completed project.

Admission is free - Donations greatly appreciated. Light refreshments will be served.
