CT Summer at the Museum - Free Admission for Kids!

The Glebe House Museum & Gertrude Jekyll Garden is proud to be a part of CT Summer at the Museum Free Admission for Kids program that was announced yesterday, June 30th. Under this program children 18 and under will receive free admission to participating museums. One accompanying adult will also receive free admission. The program will be in effect from July 1 - September 6th (Labor Day).

The Glebe House Museum is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (except for Sunday, July 4th) from 1:00 - 3:30 pm for guided tours. The Museum Shoppe is open from 1:00 - 4:00 pm for purchases and information. The Gertrude Jekyll Garden is open 7 days - dawn-dusk for self guided visits. There are picnic tables available for visitor use with the exception of July 12 - July 30 (Monday-Friday), when our summer program children will be using them from 9-3 pm. Restroom is available during museum hours.

This program has been made possible through the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act. The use of the federal ARPP funds for the program was proposed by Governor Lamont and approved by the Connecticut General Assembly. The funds are being administered by the CT Department of Economic and Community Development and CT Humanities.
